About Me

I am a senior research scientist at Waymo, developing foundation models for prediction and planning in autonomous vehicles. Before joining Waymo, I was a postdoctoral fellow in the Computer Science Department (CSD) at Carnegie Mellon University, co-advised by Prof. Peter Steenkiste and Prof. Srinivasan Seshan. I received my Ph.D. from the AIoT Lab at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, advised by Prof. Guoliang Xing, and my B.Eng. with honors in Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University.

My research sits at the intersection of embodied AI, robotics, and intelligent transportation. focusing on enabling autonomous systems to perceive, reason, anticipate, and act safely in complex real-world environments. My work has been recognized with multiple best paper and demo awards at ACM MobiCom, the ACM SIGBED Paul Caspi Memorial Dissertation Award (2 recipients worldwide), selection as an MIT EECS Rising Star, and other honors from both academia and industry.
